This is just an idea which might completely bomb out. It's kind of developed from a couple of posts on the 'here we go again' thread on 'off topic'.
Since the North America tour dates were announced earlier this week it has occurred to me that trying to envisage the vast distances that the aussies will travel between gigs, often over night, is not easy when you live on a relatively small island like the UK. There will undoubtedly be some who are red hot in the geography department and have no interest, but for those of us who are not how about a kind of global discussion on how it is all achieved.
Would any of our friends in the USA and Canada care to 'lead us' around the tour? We always get great gig reports from over the pond when the aussies are with you, as we try to give when the UK tour is on, but how about adding the extra dimension of the journeys between, what's the state that there in like i.e. industrial, rural, vast open space, grotty, beautiful, they are in Florida in the middle of November, will that be a risk for the hurricane season? What are the distances involved when going from say Houston to Texas over night (just an example). There are all sorts of topics that could be discussed I suppose.
