I watched a bit of it again... the sound was "tinny" and the video washed-out compared to the DVD. I don't think that it did the band justice. Still I was deeply amused that Bostonians could donate $250 to PBS and get a pair of tickets (Rows 1-10) for the Aussie Floyd gig in Boston, or donate $150 and get a pair of tickets elsewhere!

It was kinda cool to see the Aussies treated with a degree of celebrity!

warmonger ( User ) OFFLINE Posts: 72	i was rather disappointed with it; had been expecting all of DSotM. there were a coupla songs i hadn't heard APF do before so it wasn't all that bad. and to think i paid 41 for my 8th row floor seat, when i coulda shelled out 250 lol

Skidpuppy ( User ) OFFLINE Posts: 807	Is it just me or did the mix sound different? Vocals were way more out front than the DVD. During SOYCD, you can hear the audience singing on the DVD but not on the PBS broadcast. Granted I saw the Atlanta broadcast....
