Front row's great -- but it does diminish somewhat the impact of the light/laser show

Everyone seems to rush for front row tickets, not the best seating in the house I say. Stand back, where the hot seats are, depending on the venue ....I suggest.I always find and appreciate the beauty of the light show and sound must I not forget near where the floor crew are.

The Aussie's don't use lasers in every venue... so where I get to see them there is no detriment to being close.  For their shows I've sat 11 rows back and in the 2nd row.  The 2nd row was a more enjoyable experience... visceral, intense, even intimate.  I expected the sound to suck (technical term), it didn't.  I thought that I'd be too close to take everything in, I wasn't.

Having said that I've seen other shows where the best seat (sound & vision) was in the lower bowl.  So I'd imagine that it totally depends on the set-up and the venue.
