TOPIC: Tour Torrents

Tour Torrents 5 years, 6 months ago #1

I went to see DG  and RW in Toronto  this year and was able to get boots of both shows from yeeshkul.  Nobody seems to be posting any shows from the Aussie tour though.  Is anyone planning on it or does anyone know of any sources I do not?  It would be awesome to have a recording of all three shows I attend this year.  The quality of the DG boot was awesome.  The RW one was pretty good too, but not quite as good.  I tried doing it myself, but I cant attenuate the input enough to get a good boot.  I'll be seeing them at the same place I saw DG, Massey Hall.  Somebody please...hook me up.

Welcome to the forum. You'll find pretty much all of the available Floyd and Floyd related boots on Echoes Hub.

The RW one was pretty good too, but not quite as good.

Which RW show are you talking about here, by the way?

I saw RW at Air Canada Centre in Toronto and DG at Massey Hall.

Not found any from 2006 (EH included). I've been trying to source a TAPFS version of P3DO and could only find this from 2005: Pigs Live; though it only has 68% health. A shame - it sounds like a very good quality boot.

Hopefully some boots will appear later in the year from the 06 shows.

A new Australian Pink Floyd show has recently surfaced on the Echoes Hub, imaginatively titled "Wombat-A-Go-Go".

It's a recording of the the ExCel gig in Docklands, back at the end of July (the one on at the same time as the Motor Show).  The set list for that gig was:

Shine On
Learning To Fly
Time
Great Gig in the Sky
Us and Them
Sheep
Echoes
High Hopes
One Of These Days
Happiest Days
Brick 2
Comfortably Numb
Run Like Hell

A search for "wombat" should bring up those users sharing it.
