TOPIC: Minnepolis show (1st night)

Minnepolis show (1st night) 5 years, 5 months ago #1

I originally posted a short review and jumbled setlist from the Minneapolis 1st night show (Nov 25) in the thread "Are we all flagging?", but I thought I'd give it its own thread for reference.  Also, I read skidpuppy's setlist from the Atlanta show, and it appears that it is identical to the show I saw in Minneapolis, so I copied and pasted from that thread, since I couldn't remember the song order (thanks skidpuppy!).  Also, I took some photos during the show, but they didn't turn out very well.  I was too absorbed in the show to care at the time!   Which I guess is good and bad!  Anyway, the first photo is of Ian singing "Nobody's Home" from the easy chair next to a lamp.  The theatrics were priceless, and of course his voice is awesome!  Too bad the photo is a bit blurry, but it gives the idea.  Enjoy, I sure did!

Great stuff NH and thanks for taking the trouble to post the review and pics. No worries about being slightly blurred, thats the first time we've see Ian with the chair and lamp.
Are we nearly there yet?

That's the first time i've seen a picture of Ian on stage in the chair as well!
Was hoping to get to see him do it in Florida...but alas, not quite ready  :'(

Looks brilliant, and i'm not in the least bit surprised it's being recieved by the audiences so well !

Guess i'll have to wait until next year....

so please, anybody going to the next gigs in canada for example (yes centurion i'm talking to you ;D)
please get some good pictures of 'nobody home'

Would that be a photo of nobody in your home because you'd be at the gig?
Be very very careful what you put into that head, because you will never ever get it out. Thomas Cardinal Wolsey (1471-1530)
