I found this this morning on MySpace and thought ya'all might be interested in reading it
I saw The Australian Pink Floyd Show last nigh at the Tower Theaters in Upper Darby PA. And let me just say right off the bat how fucking AMAZING this show was. I saw Aussie floyd last year and I could immediatly tell last night that they have gotten atleast 10 times better since before. The guiatarist literally take studio versions and live versions of Gilmours guitar parts to absolutly perfect the solos or main riffs.
They started the show off with Shine On You Crazy Diamond, and my goddd this was probably my favorite song of the night, especially when they put Syds picture on the background screen.
But the main difference I noticed from this year and last year is that the vocalist have obviously been working very hard to capture the sound of the vocalist FROM THE DIFFERENT TIME PERIODS OF FLOYD!!!
What iam talking about is that the vocalist have perfected the sounds of Roger Waters and David Gilmour, but as we all know Gilmour and Waters grew in their vocal styles as time went on. Aussie Floyd captured the diff singing styles from diff eras. For example, how Gilmour sounds on songs like Fat Old Sun and how he sounds on the song Learning to Fly, their undoubtly different.
AUSSIE FLOYD IS A MUST SEE FOR ALL FLOYD FANS, IF YOU THINK YOUR GOING TO SOME COVER BAND TYPE OF DEALL THAN YOUR WAYYY OFF. They are a Floyd experience.
