Has anyone else who has been to a gig on this tour noticed the glazed screen in front of Bonney?

I described it in my review of the Dublin gig and asked if anyone knew what it was for, but so far I haven't seen any offers of an explanation. Did it only appear in Dublin? Surely not!!

I'm only guessing, but I think it must be something to do with sound - does it act as a baffle?

I know this kind of glass screen is used when the drums are too close to others instruments .It allows an attenuation of the sound level around the drums...

I reckon it's because Steve Mac keeps throwing stuff at him when he's drumming and it keeps the mess down.

Not a musician myself but guessing...as Bonney is higher up this tour on his riser, his bass drums look at 'ear' level
to Steve, Mike and anyone else at front of stage. To deflect the sound so the bass drum is not so loud or to stop
feedback or something?

Nobody seen Metallica's S&M concert then?, Lars's drum kit is behind glass screens too, so that the stray noise from the drums don't upset the orchestra.
