Ian I agree is a great addition, his voice so very Gilmour like. A very slick professional show, they
just get better. Reckon I'll be taking sunglasses to the second Ipswich gig tomorrow - can't see a
thing - blinded!! Those white lights across the front and the Division Bell tour style semi-circle of lights
around Mr.Screen work superbly. No room for Skippy this time at Ipswich.

almost full house I would say as there were about 10 seats free behind us.

Excellent. This tour really seems to be going down very well. Unfortunately it's 3 more weeks before I get to see them again!

A bit more awake now yet a full day at work before the 2nd gig tonight  >

I don't know about you but the older you get, there are less things to excite but arriving at
the Regent, seeing the two huge Fly-by-Nite trucks and two shiny red tour buses I felt like a kid
waking up on Christmas day morning, despite having seen the guys so many times now!

Once you are familiar with the show you start to look for things like the glitter ball coming down
during Damien's Comfy solo (You too?) Everytime you think 'they've left it too late, it won't be
down in the centre of Mr.Screen in time' but it always is. Last night down it came very slowly
and it stopped at the exact split second when the lights hit it at that point in his solo. Total
professionalism from band and crew, timed to perfection.

The addition of Amy is a revelation, the girls sounded fantastic and very powerful on 'What do
you want from me' and I loved the dispersed laser effect in the 'worm' part in the middle of 'hey you'.

So after a nights sleep, on reflection yes the best performance I have seen them do so far in
probably 30+ gigs...sorry 'shows'. It really is a world class top-drawer show and I still can't wait for
tonight!...and Cambridge...and Norwich..and Bournemouth..and the Pops..and Cambridge Rock festival...
and...

I know what you mean Mr Mouse !  I love it when they come on playing Shine On You Crazy Diamond and you hear the very beginning of the song, as it kicks in !  Ive always wondered what the boy walking in the video screen means? i wonder if anybody knows ?  :  ;D

I always feel it is supposed to represent the young Syd and younger days of innocence around Cambridge
when Rog & Dave first new him. Same with the Shine On film on 'Pulse'.
