Another great night, again almost a sell out - first time they have played 2 nights at the Regent.
The set list was the same as Monday night, however they played Pigs instead of Sheep.
I also realise now I had the set list slightly wrong Monday. This is correct:
Shine On 1-5
Learning To Fly
Money
Us And Them
On The Turning Away
Gunners Dream
Take It Back
Brain Damage/Eclipse
Astronomy
What Do You Want From Me
Set The Controls (Awesome solos from Damian & Mike)
Time
Great Gig (Brilliant with first Ola then Amy)
Nobody Home ( Ian singing in armchair with TV )
Sheep ( Monday) Pigs (Tuesday)
Wish you were here
One Of These Days
Happiest Days Of Our Lives/Bricks 2
Band Member Intros - Jason introduced Bruce Cattell, Bruce Darlington, Bruce Mac etc
..then Sheila Smith, Sheila Gervers etc to much amusement from the crowd)
Comfortably Numb
Encore:
Hey You
Run Like Hell
With the stage lights still up, all 11 members joined hands for a bow to the audience.
I also realise after last night, Bricks 2 is the version as played by PF on Pulse, not the
Aussies 'improvised ending' version as played on recent tours and the DVD.
Another difference to Monday, the familiar radio intro to WYWH with 'Neighbours' theme tune
etc, had Rolf Harris and Men at Work's 'Down Under' included.
My highlight was probably 'Set the Controls'...absolutely brilliant, look out for Damian's solo!
Anyway, a few pics all taken with the point-and-shoot without flash, therefore the best ones
are when the stage lights are up during Jason's band intros.
