Well, as the topic title says -- good news/bad news.  The good news is that the Aussie Floyd are playing at least 3 dates on the US West Coast in June (6/19 at the Pala Casinio near Temecula,6/22 in Santa Cruz and 6/23 in Reno).  The bad news is that the 6/19 show is extremely close to one of our shows in the same region (we play the Pechanga Casinio in Temecula on 7/7/07).  Normally, this would not concern me in the least because our fans will come see us regardless of whether the Aussies are playing in the same proximity.  But this is our first time in Temecula and it's a bit out of our existing geographic fan base.  So in this instance, we really don't need any extra drag on our drawing power.  C'est La Vie.  At least our show is "The Wall" and includes Led Zepagain so we have something to distinguish ourselves from the Aussie show.   (The Aussie show is also 4 days after Roger plays in Orange County and he's not playing San Diego.  It will be interesting to see how the Aussies draw in light of Roger's show.)

It looks like the Aussies only have 3 shows in the US so far -- I bet they'll be adding some more soon ???

 

I heard that W1P are way better than the Aussies, so this shouldn't affect your attendance much at all. Now where did I hear that? 

Well I won't be at either gig because Us Not Them are playing at the old people's home down the road from me.
