Hi everyone,
This is my first post on here as I've only just found this site after a general TAPFS google search.
Anyway, I've been a long time Pink Floyd fan but have never seen them live (and obviously never will) and various people have told me how good TAPFS is so I decided to go to the Beaulieu show on Friday. I took my eleven year old son along as well which would be his first concert.
Well, what can I say, what a show. I had shivers running down my spine and the look on my son's face when they started playing was a picture. We both enjoyed the show so much we will definately go again. I have to say that it was quite an emotional experience because it was so good that I could actually imagine that it was Pink Floyd that I was seeing. They are not only excellent as a tribute band but they are also excellent in their own right as a stadium rock band.
I bought the Liverpool 2004 DVD at the show and all I've done all weekend is watch that and listen to the audio which I've ripped from the DVD and put on my MP3 player.
Anyway, I won't drone on any more. I just thought I'd say hi.
All the best
Russell
