I was doing a spot of shopping last night in Asda and was browsing through their [s]library[/s] magazine section. Q Magazine had a feature on tribute band and of course there's a small quarter-page piece on the Aussies with a picture. It's mainly about their history and how they played at DG's 50th etc and also a small interview with Colin.

However, we almost get mentioned by name as well "The band even has it's own dedicated fan site

BZZZZZTTT!!!!

Another article which mentions Gilmour's 50th.  I'm still waiting to see a review that doesn't contain that reference.

David Gilmours 50th birthday bash is always going to be mentioned. After all it was a highly significant endorsement of the Aussies exceptional talent.

Yeah but I always see it as a way for journos to fill the space up.

There's also a 4 part series on Radio 2 starting Wednesday 22nd August at 11pm all about tribute bands - not sure if the Aussies feature, but I guess they would have to - its hosted by Bill Bailey, so could be quite entertaining

I always see it as a way of impressing potential fans who read it for the first time.
Are we nearly there yet?
