All those of you going to Dudley who are booked into the Quality Hotel please phone them as soon as possible to check that they haven't cancelled your booking ????
    Mrs bigdog ,being a well organised person has just been in contact with them to make her customary last minute check(being a regular traveler she knows that this is a sensible precaution to take) only to be told that because of a system problem our booking had been cancelled on the 29th of July.
                Our booking made and confirmed on 8th of April had been wiped from their system.
    Please be aware of their incompetence,I really don't want any of my friends to be upset on Saturday.

I asked them to fax me through confirmation of my booking 2 weeks ago which they did. Phew! I've also just called them to double check and it's all OK.

Have you managed to get back in Steve?

The latest position is this...
    We have received an apology and a verbal guarantee of a room.
                Mainly because Mrs bigdg knows how to deal with people who let us down.
  Life's too short to worry about what "might be" So we will just see what happens on Saturday.
