WOW what a gig!!! That was hugely enjoyable and what a great way to end the UK tour. The set list I shall leave for the Master Blagger himself, Mike.  ;D
A great pleasure to meet so many people and thank you all for making it lovely evening. Dudley itself was a bit of a surreal place to have a gig, walking up the loooooong slope to the castle going past animal cages was weird, however the grounds of the castle made a great venue. The sound was superb, the show was played straight through without a break and the band was just fantastic (that is really what I think....)  ;D. From where I was standing (almost at the front) the atmosphere was good too.
Many many thanks also for the privilege of meeting the band after the gig. A truly cracking night indeed!

I'm just home from attending the official inaugral (not)aussiefloyd fan convention, held in the grounds of the ruins of Dudley Castle.

As Andy has said, straight through tonight with no break, no get a beer, no bunch of floyd!! A hugely enjoyable show though and what a pleasure it was to see Mike Kidson back playing. The band line up was as usual with the exception of Emily Gervers who did not sing tonight.

It seems such a long time ago that, back in March, Bigdog, Mrs Bigdog, Mrs Mike, Keats and I sat in Madagans Drinking Emporium in O'Connel Street, Dublin, speculating over what the forthcoming UK Spring Tour might hold for us. I can remember that we had such anticipation, wondering how the band could possibly improve on the previous years tour. Well, of course that is all history now, many have waxed lyrical over the stunning performances given by TAPFS this year and I can only say that I have been lucky enough to see some truly amazing shows.

What a fitting way to end the season then, being at Dudley in the company of some exceptionally nice people, some I had met before, some I was meeting for the first time, but all of them true fans of the music of Pink Floyd drawn together to hear that music being played by a rather special, talented band known as Australian Pink Floyd. Thank you all for a wonderful evening - it was so nice to see everone - and thank you to the band for their after show hospitality, it was much appreciated.

What a great show last night, the music was spot -on, even without Skippy, Mr.Screen or the mirror ball this show was played to perfection.

The (not) Aussie Floyd fan convention was a success and it was a pleasure meeting up with you all, corked hats or not , I'll bet some of you have sore heads this morning . Hopefully we can all meet up again at some point next year.

Thanks go out to the band and Nick for the after show passes, a perfect end to the perfect evening. Great to meet band members and have a chat.

How boring was that support act?? A couple of numbers would have been fine but a full hour of acoustic songs that all sound very similar was just WAY too much.

Roll on 2008 for another round of TAPFS perfection.
