Hello, my name is Nicole, aussie mommy to two beautiful youngsters.

Anyway, I saw TAPF last night in Portland and I was FLOORED! This show was INCREDIBLE! I was especially inpressed by the song when the two female backup singers sang....I hope you guys know what I am talking about. My question is, is there a place to download THAT song (is it even a song??) or is it on one of their CD's? I looked on aussiefloyd.com, couldnt find it. Also, why isnt their new CD available on their website? Is there another place to get it? I knew I should have bought it last night but the place was packed.

you must be talking about great gig in the sky, do a youtube search to see if that is it

Yes a huge welcome from me too, glad you liked the show and like you, no matter how many times I listen to Great Gig in the Sky it always moves me, especially when it's done so well by the aussie gals. They always get a huge and emotional reaction from the crowd when they do it....and no wonder.

This song, and an entire rendition of Dark Side of the Moon is on the aussie Floyd DVD available from their own web site www.aussiefloyd.com There is a new DVD coming out shortly (we are all waiting to buy it) and it has this piece on it. My recommendation is to wait until it's out and the get the latest. Keep chatting here and you will hear about it as soon as it's out. The old DVD from 2004 that's on the site and still available to buy......... absolutely ROCKS
