Does anyone know if TAPFS ever played there and if so, will the show be scaled down a bit because of the size of the theatre ? I remember seeing them at the Beacon Theatre, NY a couple of years ago or so. That show was lacking on the lasers and the kangaroo was not even used. Also i've seen TAPFS about 3 times during that time frame, and I seen Roger about 6 times during the last couple of years. now after reading a couple of set list on this forum, Is there any chance that TAPFS will not play Dark Side and maybe play the Animals or WYWH instead ? I mean dont get me wrong I love Dark Side but to me it seems a bit overplayed now. Thanks

Yes, they have played there.  Here are a few clips...They don't look scaled down to me (keep in mind this was part of the 2006 tour).

Since there are two shows played back to back at the tower theatre then it is very likely the band will play something different on the second night. Probably WYWH. Best to check with what is advertised as to what album (if any) will be played on any particular night. I'm sure of course that the band would simply love to play Animals but promoters and show organisers generally seem to have different ideas to the musicians as to what sells tickets

It takes a lot of work to get a show up to the level of TAPF has their show. Do albums here and there, and inject long complex more obscure pieces in here and there, all the time keeping up with the audience demand for their fav Floyd pieces during every show. They now have substitutes for certain members of the band and yet the show is still a stellar show. It seems to me that the organization ....is very very healthy.

Cool thanks !!! Very helpful. Im taken a friend who im proudly to say that i converted her to a Floyd fan this year after taken her to see Roger in Philly & Live Earth. Cant wait to take her to the Tower Theatre.

Mmmm,Most interesting ! Promoters and show organiser decide what the band play.
                      That sounds like a dangerous strategy  to me.
