Hello!  Looking forward to my first APF show this Saturday night in Hartford CT.  Our local rags are advertising Dark Side of the Moon in its entierty followed by 'hits."  Is this not the format of the entire tour?  Reading a few other posts it seems they may be playing Wish You Were Here followed by these "hits" on other stops along the way.  I have not noticed any true set lists posted here so I'd be interested what they might play other than Dark Side.  A friend showd me a DVD of the band and they played Careful with that Axe Eugene which absolutely blew my mind.  Is it possible they may play such a gem on this current run?

I'm a big set list guy and will do my best to bring pen and notecard to keep a proper log.  As a newbie, the least I can do is report back to everyone with a brief review.

To your question. Since they are advertising it as a DSoTM plus hits, I'd go with that for now. They usually play some older longer piece like Dogs or Set the controles for the heart of the sun, Sheep or carefull with that axe....and others. But there is only so much time in a concert to play music. When you devote the first act to one album, then it leaves only the second act to play favorites. So their time is limited as to how many of the more obscure pieces they play while still including the crowd "must have's". This tour has seen a lot of STCFTHOTS and it's spectacular! Either way....you won't be disappointed and I really look forward to reading your detailed review. Ask for a set list copy from the front of house guy at the sound desk, if you get there first you might get one!

For me the set list means little, but I like to hear about what it made you feel like, and what the overall effect the show had on you.

TAPFS rocks dude, so prepare to have your world rocked! Take a friend and watch their faces!

I don't think that they are playing CWTAE on this tour... I haven't seen it posted in any set lists.  But who knows.

I'll tell you this... I've seen the band twice, and both times they played CWTAE.  The first time was waaay cool.  The second time blew my freaking mind... the crescendo was a true "WOW" moment... mind you I was 2nd row and had been very sociable <ahem> before the show.....

Thanks for the welcome!  I'm attending the show with 2 friends.  One has seen the band before and was the one who told me this show is a must see.
The best part is we're going for free!  My neighbor is in corporate sales with Live Nation, the promoter of the show, and I hit her up for some tickets in the hopes we could get close.  She hooked us up with 3 comped seats in a VIP box, complete with VIP Parking Pass!!  What could be sweeter?  More money for pre-game festivities.  Sometimes it's not what you know, but who you know.  You know?

I'm happy to be on board here as the forum seems filled with folks that are at least marginally sane.  I'll be sure to post a review/thoughts ASAP on Sunday morning.
