UPDATED W/ PICTURES************11/2- Manchester, NH Pics from 10/30, 11/2, 11/3) 4 years, 6 months ago #1

Another amazing night.  Definitely will be the best show for me this year.  Front row center stage, nothing is better.  We set out to NH and got there for 7:00pm.  My friend asked the event staff where are seats are as a joke, and the guy smiled and called my friend a wise guy.  We easily found our seats.  Unfortunately there was a barricade in front of us, but oh well we were close enough.  the whole front of the stage was lined with subwoffers.  I knew it was going to be intense.

At 7:40 the heartbeat began, and the "Australian Pink Floyd" text dissapeared from the screen.  I knew what was about to happen.

The band enters the stage.  Damian immediately laughs at me seeing as how I am the only person in the whole place wearing a cork hat.  It was cool that he noticed.  I think I got a laugh from Cattell too, but I'm not positive.

Set List:

Dark Side of the Moon

-----Intermission-----

Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Pt 1.)
Learning to Fly
Take it Back
Set the Controls For The Heart of the Sun
Pigs (Three Different Ones)
Nobody Home
Wish you Were Here
One of These Days
Another Brick in the wall Pt 2
Shine On (Pt 2)
"Last Song"
Comfortably Numb
---Encore---
Hey You
On The Run

All in all, this was an amazing show.  The place was packed, I'd say close to sold out.  Much more people than at the show in Boston.  Everyone was into it, whether they were drinking, drugging, or whatever people do at shows, everyone was having an incredible time.

The bass was so strong I thought my body was going to collapse.  It was a good feeling.

Cameras were allowed.  I got some good video but the bass was so loud it ruined the sound.  You can still kind of hear the music.  Does anyone know of a way to drop the bass down and restore the audio?  Please let me know if you do.  I may post the videos anyways just because I was like 5 feet from the band and its cool to see them rip it up.

The ladies were PERFECT, let me tell you.  I get goosebumbps every time they sing.

Time was one of the most fan responsive songs.  Once the screen filled with clocks everyone went crazy.

Another classic Money solo battle between Damian and Jamie.  I swear they get tighter every time I see them.

The pig and Skippy were both in attendance.  People went crazy for the pig.  One of These Days was also badass when they put up Skippy.  Everyone was standing.  I thought the bass was going to knock me over, I think I felt it blowing past my face.

They finished the set with Shine On pt2 which was really cool.  They didn't finish like that at the last show.

I was hoping to meet the band afterwards.  When they finished and bowed, Jamie Humphries pulled backstage passes out of his pocket and showed them.  I tried to hang around but, and I hope someone from the arena is reading this, Manchester NH has the biggest assholes working there.  Not even 1 minute after the show ended they kicked us out, I couldn't even wait for it to become less crowded.  They just kept telling us to leave with a wicked attitude.  I've never had to deal with something like this at a concert.  We went to different sides of the arena just trying to hang in, but it was no use.  We stood at the top near the entrance and who comes walking out?  Jamie Humphries.  Only he walked out and gave his passes to some hot chicks that were still on the floor.  So security kicks me out, but they let the girls hang around.  I'm furious about that.  I see Jamie, you'd rather hang out with hot chicks than me.  Thats respectable.  But the event staff are still assholes and I'm never going back to that arena.

So there you have it, my night in a nutshell.  It really was an amazing night.  Now I will rest for a while, before show #3, tonight in Hartford, CT.  See you on the dark side of the moon!

I hope the Bruces and Sheilas read this and manage to get a pass to you tonight CF342. Thanks for the reviews.

Definatly an amazing show. My tickets were to the far left (if you're looking at the stage), wasn't THRILLED about where the seats were but was definatly knocked off my feet at how incredible DSoTM was. I enjoyed it FAR more than Roger Waters this past July.
Got to Manchester around 6:30, parked a few blocks away where my girlfriend usually parks (She's in that part of the city a lot at the gym), and after sharing some drinks between the 4 of us, we found our way to the arena and met up with another few friends who had seats on the opposite side as us.  After sitting around for some time, the show started, the "journey to the dark side" started for me and my friend Craig (And later on included the kid in front of me and his dad, cool people), and all I can say is WOW. Freaking INCREDIBLE.
My favorite part of the show was definatly DSoTM, but the old guy who must have been tripping out on SOMETHING who crawled his way up to the stage towards the end and was rocking out till security dragged him back to his seat (Where he seemed a bit confused for a few seconds, but got right back to dancing around). What a riot! Anyway, great show, everyone around us was really cool and friendly, my girlfriend I think now understands why I love Pink Floyd so much, and we cant wait till next time around!

haha the first time, security escorted him back to his seat. They didn't kick him out. I didn't see what happened to him after that. Wasn't that the funniest thing you've ever seen though?!?!?! oh man!
