I enjoyed this show better than the night before show. It is actually nice to sit not too close to the stage so we can see the lights better and observe the energy of the crowd.  The played WYWH in it's entirety and the animation was incredible.  It was the first time I saw them play 'Welcome to the Machine' and 'Have a Cigar' so it was great to see something new.  I took two of my friends and they were blown away.  One never saw them before and we now have a new convert.    Within a few seconds of the animation started for WYWH he turns to me and says "Wow!". The crowd was really lit as well; full of energy and enthusiasm that the band could feel.  I can't wait to see them again next year.  Hopefully they will play a bigger venue so the show can include the inflatables.

When we saw them at Dudley, we were so close to the stage that I could hear the stage volume (mostly drums) more than the main PA system. That's great if you want to see the band up close and yes, it was cool to see them perform up close but you don't get the scope of the show being that close to the action. Sit farther back and you become immersed in the show and sound. IMO, that's what experiencing a Pink Floyd concert is all about. The sound, lights, lasers, Mr. Screen/animations and inflatables!

I can't wait for them to come to town next weekend!

You must still have the Aussie Floyd afterglow.  It's natural, and it will probably last until next November.  I suggest you buy the new DVD.

I bought the new DVD first thing when I arrived at the concert.  It has excellent production quality and I recommend everyone buy a copy.
