Just got back from the San Antonio show, and I'd say on a scale of 1 to 10, the band gets a 10 and the audience gets a 2!  "Why?", you may ask:  Let me get my rant out of the way first!  > Throughout the show (particularly during the second half), a small section of the crowd (probably all in the same college fraternity) was "hooting" and yelling over Ian's singing.  All I could hear were these drunk guys yelling stupid crap like "play another brick in the wall!" and other nonsense--during The Gunner's Dream, Nobody Home, and On The Turning Away!!!!.  I think Ian needs to complete the Roger Waters act by reenacting Montreal 1977.  'Nuff said!

Now, on to the good stuff!!  The concert was absolutely amazing!  No slip-ups (at least not that I could tell), incredible setlist, and a fantastic performance by all (Ian especially--his vocals sounded more like Waters/Gilmour at this show than any of the other ones I've seen so far).  Several times throughout the show I closed my eyes and felt like I was at the real thing--this was AWESOME!!!!  ;D

The setlist was as follows (not sure about the order, but it's close...let me know if I left anything out):

1st half:
Dark Side Of The Moon

2nd Half:
Shine On 1-5
Learning To Fly
Take It Back
The Gunner's Dream
Nobody Home
On The Turning Away
Pigs (Three Different Ones)
Wish You Were Here
One Of These Days
Another Brick In The Wall pt.2
- band intros -
Comfortably Numb

- encores -
Hey You
Run Like Hell

*** I'll upload the pics when I have time ****
Ashes and diamonds, foe and friend...we were all equal in the end.

The idiot audience issue is not going to get better any time soon. The reason they are idiots is because they're drunk and the venues aren't going to stop them getting drunk, because they get rich selling them the alcohol. I can't see a solution to it.

Oh for God's sake! What is it with people getting smashed and feeling as if it's their sole job on this planet to heckle the band? Morons.

I'm going to Austin tonight to see the band at the Paramount. My wife and I saw the show in Dallas and met the band afterwards. Great bunch. Just can't imagine people being so damn rude to the performers! I particularly like Ian and his singing...and I'm sure he being the professional that he is...I would believe that he just brushed it off as a bunch of "stupid yanks" that have absolutely no appreciation for dedication and hard work. As much as I love Texas and all the Texans in it...unfortunately there are a few that fall into that category.

I do hope the crowd in Austin is well behaved. I am very much looking forward to seeing them perform again.

Sorry about the rant...I just can't stand to hear about people being so unappreciative.

I have an issue with it too.  The only thing that I can think of is that these young kids are not really Floyd Fans.., They are another brick part 2 fans.  Most of them have never heard the rest of Floyd's music.

I LOVE Ian when he sings nobody home but I appreciate the song and am a fan of the Wall, but if you had never heard the album, nor seen the movie....well anyway

There is no excuse for yelling at the band during the show.  It is so disrespectful to the band and it would piss me off as a fan to have to listen to it over the awesome vocals that both Ian and Damien put out.

Sorry, I had to rant as well...

It's funny isn't it, you take a picture because you are crazy about this show and this band, and you get hassled by security....you shout out and heckle the band verbally and disrupt others who are listening, and what do you get, 'nuttin. This would never happen if you went to see a symphony play.......security would have you outa there in a heartbeat. But it's a rock concert and rude people get away with it because of that.......get 'em up against the wall.

My kids went to the Sunday show in Atlanta, same problem but a guy just behind the drunks took the matter in his own hands. They got the message and shut up.  ;D
