Cool ideas for the big Wall show that may be of some interest for the band to consider using. Serious suggestions only!

OK, mine is that during the CN solo's that Damian is up high above the stage with the spotlights on him, something like Gilmour did during the famous wall concerts. It's an unforgettable image from the audience perspective.

OK, how about NOT building an actual wall?  ;D

How about not getting Cyndi Lauper,Thomas Dolby,James Galway,Jerry Hall,Van Morrison,Sinead O Connor etc(although it was okish at the time) to help you, when (if) they sing Waiting for the worms pour gallons of maggots over the audience,I wonder if anyone will turn up dressed as stormtroopers? I certainly hope not !
The imagination can and possibly will run wild with this, the music side will probably be the easiest as they have done them many times before, its the effects that need to be spot on not the easy option but 100% professional and gobsmacking , Im sure it will be, I bet the band are realy looking forward to this challenge as much as we are. good luck and good skills to all involved, cheers mick.

How about NOT beginning a slow sprialing descent towards disbanding after the tour like the real PF did.  :-\

How about NOT retreating to the floor of a public bathroom muttering incoherent lines that would eventually become snippets from songs on the following album during "The Show Must Go On" like what happened in the film version...  ;D

have two walls either side of a stage with a sign centrestage saying "DMZ" between them? It would be like... a statement... or something. 

Perhaps try to emulate light shows used in Pink Floyd concerts. although they hav crazy as light shows, itll really make people relive the moments of Pink Floyd back in the day. After all, thats what theyre trying to do in the first place. Also possibly build a wall during the wall set lists and make it massive like the old ones. i dont really like this idea, but many people do.

one more thing is trying to get a former pink floyd member to be a guest at a massive concert which would generate massive crowds and would just b awesome lol!
