CMP ENTERTAINMENT are proud to announce, The Australian Pink Floyd Show will perform FOUR classic albums and a special ‘fan request’ set over TWO nights, at this year’s Summer Pops extravaganza.

Back by huge popular demand, having been voted the Summer Pops favourite artist, The Australian Pink Floyd Show are set to make it their seventh year running at the Pops, when they take to the stage at the new Liverpool Echo Arena, Kings Dock, in July. They are the latest act to sign up, alongside confirmed artists Michael Bublé, Crowded House and Deacon Blue.

On Friday 4th July they will perform Wish You Were Here and The Best Of The Wall and on Saturday 26th July they will perform Dark Side Of The Moon and Animals.

On both nights they will also perform a special ‘fan request’ set, as Aussie Floyd fans will be able to request their favourite Pink Floyd tracks. Fans can vote through the official Summer Pops Facebook group or can email on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Tickets for both shows will go on sale on FRIDAY, 22nd February, at 9:00am.

Great news, so the question is what are we all going to request ? Surely as a force on here we could have a big influence !

A foregone conclusion for the 2nd show!
They are bound to vote for Comfy, Shine On, WYWH & Bricks 2. ( All to be played at the first show anyway! )

I requested CWTAE 

My personal request - drop the usual ending songs from the second night.  Brick 2 and Run Like Hell are a bit predictable.  I can't see CN being dropped as it's a good ending song.

The only worry is that everyone will vote for the "greatest hits" anyway (Numb, Brick, Hell etc).

If the band are going to rigidly stick to playing the most requested songs then I suspect we won't hear much different to "normal" and the whole process will have been a waste of time.  If, on the other hand they ignore the obvious choices and look a little further down the list then we will get a much more varied set.

Agreed Larry. I'm was going to vote for Echoes, but know we won't get it due to the time restraints, so I think I'll pick a fairly short one. How about
