So here is my review from Stuttgart yesterday. I hope my English isn't too bad.
The day started with a great victorie of my favourite football team and after 9 goals (6:3) I went from the stadium to Stuttgart's city to meet my mother.
From there we went to the Liederhalle, where were plenty of people waiting. First of all I bought the Live-DVD of the 2004 Liverpool concert. I also wanted a poster, but they were from the concert in Frankfurt and so I didn't buy it.
At 19:40 we were allowed to entered the Beethoven-Saal and so I had the first disappointment of the evening, just the small light set was put up, because the location was actually too small. But hey... light isn't everything, so we waited for the concert to begin. at 20:02 the concert started with In the Flesh and the first 5 songs of The Wall. I love those guitar-solos. Then a short brake and the next song was "Learning to Fly". Not bad, but I would rather have seen High Hopes because its my favourite Floyd-song. Light was great till this point and I think at the end of some songs an epileptic-guy would have had problems with all the flashing lights.
After "Money" they played "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun". I like this version, espacially with the didgeridoo at the beginning. Also the saxophone-guy rocked the stage with his solos and he had such a cork-hat, too.
