There are very hush hush rumors that TAPF might be in Halifax as early as Late August,early September to do a show.Anyone out there hear anything.

I don't know what Joe knows (that's got an odd cadence to it, eh), but I know nothing.  I've heard nothing, and (honestly) I expect nothing... meaning I don't expect to see the Aussies travelling east of Quebec anytime in the near future.

It's pure economics.  Why would the band management have them travel all the way out here when they can sell lots of tickets in bigger markets that are more closely concentrated (geographically)?

The Aussies are at their zenith.  Halifax doesn't get bands at their zenith.  We get bands on their way up, on their way down, or whilst on the "come back" trail....  The usual exception would be because of some special interest or quirk in a band leader's personality.  Otherwise bands come here to make money when they can't make money anywhere else.  Sad but true.

They played both Moncton and Halifax and got great turnouts for both shows. The Maritimes has a huge Australian Pink Floyd Show fan base. I reckon they will be baaaaack this fall.
