TOPIC: Any USA tour rumors?

Any USA tour rumors? 3 years, 11 months ago #1

I've told a lot of friends about TAPFS and many are eager to see them for themselves.  I have seen them 4 times.  The first time was a spectacular but very poorly attended show at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento which is my favorite concert venue.  The problem with attendance was the almost a complete lack of promotion.  I stumbled upon them by reading the marquis and buying tickets not knowing what to expect.  My wife and I were captivated and have been fans ever since.  That was 2004.  Since then all the shows I have attended have been sold out or close to.

Hello steelhead...good to see you here. I first saw them in 2004 in Vancouver on their same tour. I was blown away, and they also had a small tunout at their show. But it's been getting better every year since! I'm looking forward to seeing them again this fall too. The fall touring schedule doesn't usually appear until Sept. But we'll find out on this site as soon as anyone knows!

I've seen the Aussies play 3 years at the Tower Theatre in Philly.  A local PBS fundraiser played the Liverpool Concert DVD and sold tickets which helped attendence.  That is how I discovered the band myself.  The first year they played one night and since then they have played 2 nights.  Hopefully this year they will play in a bigger venue so they have room for the inflatables.
