Just caught the end of it, but TAPFS got a mention on Planet Rock regarding the Basingstoke gig last night. They were talking about sound quality at gigs these days and about how bad Bruce Springsteen was and how good the Aussies were!

Nice one Gareth, putting on a better quality soundstage than the 'so called' professionals. Vindication about what a high quality product the guys give audiences.

Nice one indeed. The effort the band, and Gareth in particular, put into this really shows in venues renowned for their poor acoustics, where pretty much everyone else sound awful, but the Aussies still sound great. The RAH and Nottingham Royal Concert Hall come to mind.

Well done Gareth! I've been to too many shows that were not only mixed badly but were way too loud for the venue. Every time I've seen the Aussies, it's been near perfect sounding.

Yes indeed I would add my appreciation for the job Gareth does. The attention to the mix can  certainly make or break a performance. And Gareth is such an unassuming young man as well. Well done Gareth.

I do now wonder if they will do an hour with the Aussie Floyd broadcast in the future.
