Well folks, despite thinking I would be near, it felt like a million miles away.

I must reinforce first what other members have said about elements of the crowd. Looking around there seemed to have been pockets of people who just cannot behave themselves in public places, a pack mentality, getting bladdered [thinking thats the floyd experience], some of the women being the worst offenders, honestly, how much bad language can come out of a ladies mouth.

Did anyone see the fight? Ridiculous, how on earth do people get the tickets?

Overall the crowd was lively and seemed HUGE compared to others I've been to and very appreciative too.

Thanks for the photos Kev. Well I must admit to feeling a little apprehensive  :-\ about the 26th now. I managed to convince a friend of mine to come and he is bringing his young lad. I hope we'll have a better behaved crowd. Don't get me wrong, I like a bit of crowd interaction, atmosphere, singing along and appreciation, but the first half of last year's Pops was spoiled for me by the late arrivals and their constant trips back to the bar/toilets. Let's hope we get a lively, interested crowd that listens.

                As for the crowd ? Well thats always been the Liverpool experience hasn't it, just too exuberant for their own good, some people have a different take on the word "fun"  compared to others.

Floyd is to be listened to, not spoken over or clapped along to by a load of chavs. Go to a Quo gig instead.

Seriously wondering if I'll bother next week, I'll be in Liverpool anyway, but go to the show?...not bothered at this point to be honest, certainly not looking forward to it.

I'll probably give in though, the TAPFS draw is too great, hoping the audience might have changed!
