I noticed on the Aussie Floyd website it says they'll be playing each song "with a little extra thought for Rick from now on."  I wonder if this means we may hear Remember A Day, Paintbox, or Wearing The Inside Out (or any other song which was sung by Rick)?  Perhaps we'll be treated to a performance of Echoes again... Your thoughts???

I'm not at all sure. I think that its difficult to predict exactly what might be played. I'd say Echoes would be top of my list as a fitting tribute.From now on though, Great Gig will have a particular poignancy....

I personally wouldn't take it that way mihalis. I reckon it's more like that they will think of him when they play just about anything. After all the have met him.

yeah, everything will have poignancy.  Still, hearing/seeing Echoes would seriously be awesome.

I don't mean to stray from my own topic now, but let me say that I feel VERY fortunate now (even more so than before) to have been able to hear David & Richard perform Echoes together back in 2006.  I expect that many of the regulars here probably also saw at least one show on that tour, so you know what I'm talking about.  All I had to do was close my eyes, and suddenly I felt like I had stepped back in time about 35 years to a classic Floyd concert of the old days or at least the way I would have envisioned it).  Remember That Night?  Damn straight.  I'll never forget it.  Every time I see the Aussies from now on, it'll be a nice reminder of the closest I ever came to seeing Pink Floyd... *sigh*

It always has for me as you know, the next time I hear it live is not going to be easy.
