I guess I can speak for the Pittsburghers by saying we are very pleased that the band choose our city to kick off their NA tour. Last November's concert was the first time the band ever played in Pittsburgh and the response was way beyond belief.

Though they will be playing in the 3,000 seat Benedum Theatre I would bet that they could sell out half the Mellon Arena (half venue show) 8,500 seats. Tickets already in hand for Oct. 7, Balcony Center row A, the best seats in the house.

Tripman, welcome to the forum!  Being at the first N American show means of course that you have to give the firsts review  ;D

Hi Tripman, that's it I'm afraid. The responsibility of penning the first review of the first show is placed firmly on your shoulders.
I look forward to reading your thoughts and learning about your reaction.
Thank you in advance. If a complete idiot like me can do it you are already way ahead ;D

Thanks all,

That is what I was afraid of knowing Pittsburgh would be the first show and everyone would be waiting for a review.

Last November when Aussie Floyd did their show at the Benedum nobody around here knew anything about the band. The Pittsburgh area has a large prog music following so I wasnt surprised that when they decided to play here again. The Benedum (old Stanley Theatre) has a deep history for hosting some of rocks best bands. Rush did their very first American concert there in the early 1970's. Genesis recorded some of their Duke concert there. It was the site for Bob Marleys last concert.

Yes I hope to get something posted after the concert.

Thanks again for the greetings.
