Hi everyone, its been awile since I posted anything, but I have to share a few of my thoughts on the Tower show.First off,I'm not that big of a fan of The Wall.In fact,I would say its my 7th favorite album from Pink Floyd.Although I do respect its place in history when it comes to the lyrics, some of the music, and the meaning of the piece.Hmm,I don't know.....I would have rather seen them do something else.Anyway, after seeing the Aussie's twice last year, and raving about them,I just could not let this tremendous band come to Philly without being in attendance.I arrived as the band was taking the stage, about 18 rows back almost center stage.5 minutes into the show,it no longer mattered what material they were playing.I was just blown away sitting in amazement and drifting off in a musical bliss.I don't know if this was a perfect concert, but it was pretty dam close. The band was on fire through out the entire show, and I thought the rectangle screen definitely worked especially with the animations. Enough can't be said about all the members of this band. The girls,Ian,Jason,Damian were all tremendous.I really tried to listen to the intros to find out who the drummer and 2nd guitarist were, but to no avail.IT WAS LOUD due to the ovations.Sorry,I have no clue who they were, wish I did because they were fantastic. This is a tour not to be missed. If you like Pink Floyds "The Wall",run, don't walk to buy tickets. And if your not crazy about it,your crazy for not buying tickets.
