This will be my 2nd time seeing TAPFS.  I saw them last year for one of the dates here in Chicago when they were performing the WYWH and DSOTM. I chose WYWH and was blown away. The bands dedication to Pink Floyd, musically, sound, lights, stage, animation, etc... is top notch.  They are good and I have been recommending them to others ever since.

I cant wait until Wed to see this new tour, however, I do have to say, I will be missing Mr. Screen, especially for those that havent experienced it yet.

A couple of side notes:
1. I have an extra ticket
2. Ticket Master called me to notify me that the concert time has changed from 7pm to 8pm

Also, if the time to start is 8pm, do they start at 8pm?

Is there any chance for Echoes or Gunners Dream being played?  I know that asking for Echoes to be played after playing The Wall is a tall order to fill, but it sure would be a great surprise!

Oh, one other question. I am thinking of buying one of the TAPFS DVD's. Which one is best in terms of Audio and Picture Quality?  I have a 100" Front Projection "theater" room that I just built and would like to finally get me some good "Floyd" to watch and hear on my new system.  I have David Gilmour's latest and other Floyd DVD's but Picture Quality just isnt that great on those.  (I do have Pulse, but it was the VHS transfer copy crap that was floating on Ebay a few years ago)

Aw Man, why do you have to ask a question like that....

Buy Both...

No here's the low down

The RAH is newer and was filmed in Hi-Def, however it is a standard def disc.  It's a 1 disc package, with some bonus features, the only draw back is that its only Uncompressed Stereo Sound.  Other notes, it's the pulse-like stage design, and features, 4 backing vocalists, 2 of which perform great gig, Also features Cattell on vocals, along with Wilson, Darlington and maybe Smac.  and has an unforgetable guest appearance by Humphries.  It's a best of and features some tracks (i.e. - pigs, set the controls), not found on the Liverpool/DSOTM Disc

Now for the Liverpool/DSOTM disc, It is a longer cut of the show, featuring all of DSOTM, plus 1  1/2 hours of hits.  It comes with 2 discs, 1 - concert 1 - bonus, the bonus disc has loads of features, and hidden gems as well.  The concert was shot in Standard Def, however it has both a Stereo and 5.1 Surround mix (give or take a center channel).

Both are well worth the money, and if you can find me, maybe I'll sign it, and you can sell each on ebay for $26.

decisions, decisions.

Have a great time at the show!!!

PS you can buy pulse on dvd now, only bummer is its 4:3 (unfortunately thats how they shot it.), both TAPFS dvd's are thankfully 16:9
