Hi all,

First post...great site BTW.

I live in Atlanta and got to see the band at the Gwinnett Center, a very large arena.  It was truly one of the best shows I have ever seen.

We are going to be in Las Vegas and will get to see the band again at The Joint, Nov 30th.

I am concerned about the size of the venue.  It, as well as the stage, is pretty small.

Does anyone know if they will be able to fit the sceen, lighting effects and the band into such a small area?

The Joint is a great venue for intimate, up close concerts, but I have concerns about such a small venue limiting the substance of this great performance.

The set the Aussies usually tour with does have to be cut down for small venues. On this tour, though, because the wall visuals are based around a rectangular backdrop, it scales up and down without having to leave any of it out. They might use less lights and lasers, but it won't impact on the experience.

It is great to see the band in small venues as well as the big ones, As you say, they are more intimate.

Thanks for the info.  My wife and I bought 6 extra tickets for family and friends in Vegas.  Just want them to experience Aussie Floyd's rendition of The Wall to it's fullest.

We can't wait to see them again.

Saw the show last year at The Joint and loved it.  No inflatables and setlist was cut back a few songs (as I recall only half of DSOTM was played, this is mostly due to casinos allocated time frame to want patrons out and gambling) but the sound quality and intimacy are a great trade off.  The bar is right at your fintertips + cocktail servers are constantly at hand.  Bring $$ because they're not cheap!  1st round of 3 drinks cost me close to $30.  Will see ya there.
