Upon starting their West Coast shows just wondering how attendance/tix sales have been for previous shows? I must admit I think it's pretty ballsy to book Universal Amp (sorry, Gibson) at what 7,000, then drive south 35 miles to play The Pond to another potential 6,000 the following night. I hope they are selling out shows. Would hate for the boys to cut back dates/cities next year. There are still a wide option of seats available for Vegas on the 30th. Fantastic if tix sales are up there. MGM Grand Garden Arena for 2009!
That's 35 miles but in LA we measure everything by driving time. That's 35 miles in ordinary traffic usually takes about an hour and fifteen minutes at least! We spotted several Aussie Floyd shirts at our Grove show last night. Looks like the hardcore Floydheads are gearing up for quite a week!
