The venue was great. Copley seats about 2,200 so it was an intimate setting. It's usually used for the symphony so the acoustics are great. The show was fantastic. The band was spot on and the sound was dialled in. I would have liked to hear a little more improvisation, but it was still a great show. 3 hours including the intermission. The highlight, hands down, was the female backup singer's solo during The Great Gig in the Sky.

Close your eyes and you're at a Pink Floyd show (but then you'd miss the stage act).

I've only seen Aussie Floyd twice...Copely Hall was the second time and it was SO much better than the Indian casino they ended up at last time they were in San Diego.
I thought the first show I saw in 2007 was great....exceeded my expectations. So my expectations were high for this show...and they were far exceeded yet again. It was an amazing performance of The Wall that I must see again.
The open pot smoking (outside the venue during intermission) was great...it was nice to see so many people being able to enjoy without being hassled by security. Southern California at its best...many thanks to TAPFS!
