Ok, we're 4 days away... the weather is looking good for Saturday (sunny with cloudy periods, minus 4 celcius).

There is lots of good chatter on local radio... all is good!

Now the weather is saying cloudy with a high of -4 and a low of -16.

Travelling weather looks good for the Aussies... right up until Sunday when they face some flurries in New Brunswick.

So ya thought ya might like to go to the show....

What can I say that hasn't already been said?

I am very pleased to report that the show was a near sellout.  There were 5 standing ovations... one for Damian after Comfy, one for the whole band at the end of The Wall, one for Ola after GGITS, one for the band at the end of WYWH, and another for the band at the end of the show.

The crowd was suitably impressed.  They got a great show, complete with lasers and one inflatable.  And to echo previous comments, BK's visuals were perfect.

For me, I must admit that it was a bit weird not to see the usual familiar faces in the band (I didn't even see Gareth at the sound boards!).  But don't me wrong... all of the surrogate players were excellent... truly masters of their craft.  Ian's (a familiar face to me) bass & vocals were superb (although is voice did sound tired near the end), and his theatric performance of Pink brought a new dimension to the show.  Bobby Harrison was certainly the most animated player (apart from the ladies and their choreographed moves) and that man can really play guitar!  Damian displayed his usual excellence.  The ladies all totally nailed it.  Carl Brunson was spot-on... as were the new drummer & keyboard player (sorry... I forget their names).

They gave Halifax a great show... and hopefully not the last show.

Sorry for this Newb question, but was there an opening act?

The Moncton coliseum sucks for getting into a show on time, so I'd rather miss part of an opening act rather than TAPFS.

Thanks

There will be no opening act in Moncton as far as I know. When the ticket says show starts at 8pm.....you better be in your seat and ready. The show always starts on time!

EDIT And a big welcome to the forum cmorrisse, I see this was your first post. I echo whay Remy says below.
