Mine was the first time I saw them, it was the DSoTM tour in 2004 and I had my reservations about if they would be any good. I had just seen another Floyd tribute band two months earlier and was dissapointed.

Thum thump....Thum thump....Thum thump......

Aussies start to play opening chords to Speak to me and then Breathe.........

HOLY SHIT................They were brilliant!

I was hooked.

The next favorite moment for me was The Dudley Castle first annual Aussie Floyd fan convention. I loved meeting you all....it was bliss!

Lets do it again!

My happy memories of TAPFS stretch far and beyond being mere moments !
Malta 2005. Dudley Castle 2007 (for many enjoyable reasons) and, what turned out to be a test of endurance and physical fitness ;D the vodka fest at Katowice 2008.
Having been a Pink Floyd fan since the late 60's and having seen the original band, therefore knowing how they should sound.......I can say that my special Aussie Floyd moments would be each and every gig I look forward to attending.
The Floyd zone is a place I love to visit. The Aussies are still getting me there.
I don't have to champion their cause quite so much these days though do I ? The band have a substantial fan base of people who treat the annual tour visit to their town as a "must see" gig. How many people have you listened to saying,"I come every year, I never miss them " ?

The spring of 2005 when Ian auditioned for the '05 North American Tour and CE began to unravel, not the best start.
Clearwater, Fla. 2006, my first show, my first time meeting the band and Chas, the first time seeing Ian on the big stage. How they treated me like a long time friend. Damian, Chas and I sitting post show for what seemed like an hour talking "shop" (CE was on hiatus at the time). Then the next night in Orlando at The House Of Blues with less than 500 people and the band was on fire! Then there's the pub in Scranton where I was mistaken for Jason and Damian played it the whole time we were there, that reminds me, I still owe him one for that!

Echoes, Liverpool Pops 2008. I nearly leapt out of my skin at the first ping ... fantastic!
The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think...

Echoes, Beaulieu, 2006. Start of the second set, a beautiful summer evening, perfect.

Colston Hall, Bristol, 2007. The first time I saw the Aussies. They opened with Shine on - my favorite piece of Floyd music, which I'd never heard played live by anybody before. I had a tear in my eye when the opening keyboard chord started. It's still my favourite part of the show.
