A few of my posse have dropped out so I've put 3 tickets on EBay - I'm not looking to make money on these (I've put a Buy-it-now price on them which is less than what they cost), just trying to get a few quid back.  They're currently at 99p with no bids, there is no reserve price.  Auction ends at 20:00 tomorrow night (Friday 26 June) - not sure what 'll do with them if they don't sell!  Had one spare ticket last year which we couldn't give away outside the doors.  Search EBay for "Australian Pink Floyd Ipswich".  You might like to go to the show...

That's a puzzle MikeBz - you've obviously got the tickets in your hand so you must be right, but the tour dates both here and on the TAPFS site don't show a gig in Ipswich on Sunday 5th July,  ??? ???  although I do remember it being included when the summer schedule of dates were first published way back.

It is correct. Must have been an extra night added to the schedule without me noticing. Just correcting the tour dates now.

I wonder if that's why the 5th (Sunday night) is so sparsely sold at the moment?  Mind you the Saturday night is along way from being sold out too. Last year they were a complete sell-out.

Credit crunch combined with ticket prices being hiked yet again means they've overcooked it this time?

Spot on with last year being a sell out Mike. I made a last minute decision to go in 2008 when a couple of return tickets became available. It was packed out and very, very hot inside the venue.

You could have a point about the increase in ticket price putting some people off. My tickets last year were £24.50 face value (excl. fees etc.). This year they are £28.50. It has to be remembered though, the financial investment in staging The Wall must be huge so maybe they need that kind of ticket price to cover costs? After all said and done, I reckon they're entitled to see a decent return.

It always is very hot inside the Regent. Fair comment about the investment in 'The Wall' show Mike, even if these summer shows (Liverpool Pops excepted) are greatest hits shows as far as I know.
