What a great show. The Wall and a bunch of Floyd. They were on fire, edgy, powerful and making a glorious noise. It's sad they can't use the props and act the roles during The Wall anymore, but it doesn't detract from this being one of the great rock shows in the world today.
We had the usual Liverpool audience. They show their appreciation and sing along like no crowd I've ever seen. It lifts the occasion and makes it a special and unique experience. Unfortunately, they also show their disrespect for the band and anyone who has come to listen to the music by coming in late with arms full of beer, shouting at each other thoughout the show, fighting, going in and out of the arena all the time for more beer and to go to the toilet. It was quieter than some years, but security still had to eject 50 people and the police were busy all night.
I'll still keep going to Liverpool, it just has to be done!
