Hey everybody, I can get back on the forum now !

What an increadable show last night!!!! Such amazing talent on that stage! I think this was the best show I've seen! Tons of energy from the band and the crowd. Everyone was singing and clapping, it was a great atmosphere. So, so, so damn good!  ;D ;D ;D

It was a pleasure to meet up with Scott and his wife Terri before the show. Very nice people!!! We had a nice meal at the Italian place next to the Fox before the show, and other than me getting hit by a truck, it was a great time.

Scott got the set list from Gareth, so I'll let him post that, but I was very pleased at the songs they chose to play.

I think my favourite of the night was Welcome to the Machine. They rocked it! They did such an amazing version! I was blown away!!!!

Also I was so happy to hear Dogs, Astronomy Domine, High Hopes, Vera, and of course I got chill bumps during Gunner's Dream and Great Gig!

Everyone seemed spot on! Ian, Damian, Amy, Jacquie, and Ola, were fantastic as usual. This was my first time seeing Booby, Arran, Carl, and Rob, but they were amazing as well and I can see why they chose them to be a part of it!

I didn't even notice there were no lasers until the second half when my stepson pointed it out to me. I was so into it, I didn't even think about it. I thought it was fine without them really. They did have Skippy, and the black pig, and the props for Nobody Home with the TV playing Gomer in the background, and Brian playing pink with Dr. Cattell in CN.

I also enjoyed having the privilege of meeting them after the show! Such nice people. There have been so many times I have meet people that I looked up to and they turned out to be stuck up buttholes, and this was not the case with them! Very very nice, down to earth, and VERY funny too! They were cracking me up!! ;D

Everyone who is going to this show will be in for a real treat!

So here are some pictures, some of them are kinda out of focus, I was 7 seats back in the balcony, very good seats (it's hard to have a bad seat at the Fox), and Scott was on the floor, so between the two of us we should have some good pics. Enjoy.

Wow, what a show, great set list (thanks Gareth for a copy!) and great visuals, kudos to Brian. It was one of those nights where the crowd was really into it and the band was in top form. Like Jamie (WW) said, we had inflatables, the mirror ball and then I had the added bonus of… Stand Up Chick…. right next to me!  It didn’t last long though as the people behind us asked her to sit down, which she did, but she not happy after that. She pouted the entire rest of the show slunked down in her seat and then left before the show was over. The rest of the crowd sat through most of the show until we got to Another Brick pt.2 . From then on it was everybody standing up cheering watching the show. Well, except for the sulking seated Stand Up Chick.

Jamie and her family were so nice and we all had a great time. After the show, I met Rob (keyboards) and had a good chat with him.. very nice guy. We later sat with Damian, Gareth and Ian had had a few drinks at a bar next to the venue. It was really nice catching up with everybody since the last time we saw them.  The next thing I know its 2am and the bus is getting ready to leave for the next town so we said our goodbyes and headed home.

Many thanks to the band for the hospitality and great conversation!  I can’t wait until next time we see them.

I’ll post a few pictures later.

With thanks to Scott and Jamie. Just recently we seem to of hit a very enthusiastic and articulate bunch of reviewers. Oh yes the new site format is working well ;D
The end of January when I get to see the band play next is getting further and further away as I'm reading more reviews. :-[
