Hi Everyone out there in Aussie Floyd land,
I made a correction to my review.
Sorry about the spelling mistake Ola and I didn't mean to leave Jacquie out, she is an awesome singer too!
Ah! finally after a two year wait, we got our Aussie Floyd fix! A very impressive show and they played all my Floyd favorites. I particularly liked the animations of skippy playing the records, that was very cool!
Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun is growing on me! The more I hear it, the more I like it and I finally got to hear the band play my all time favorite "Learning to Fly" and their great renditions of "Take it Back" and "Division Bell" Of course we enjoyed a good dose of "Dark Side of the Moon" ,"Animals" and Wish you Were Here! and the classic Floyd encore of Comfortably Numb and Ellen's favorite "Run" I did miss the lasers.
Skippy looking was looking better, last time I saw the little feller here he looked like he needed an overhaul. It is good to see him back in rare form!
All in All, another fine performance by an excellent and talented group of musicians.
We had a great time and we enjoyed meeting the band, what a great bunch guys! and of course Ola and Amy and Jacquie are awesome singers!
