We stopped off at Canary Wharf for a few beers back in October when I went to see Green Day at the O2, was quite impressed with the area tbh having never been to that part of London before.

Won't be partaking in boozing before the show next Friday though sadly, as we're taking the kids to see TAPFS, so may not be appropriate to hang around in bars beforehand

You're quite right Steve, that would be totally inappropriate behaviour. Just leave the kids outside the pub with a bag of crisps and a glass of lemonade - job done!!  ;D

I grew up in England and it was common place to see prams left outside a store with babies in them while their mums were in shopping. At our local post office I saw this all the time. My how times have changed. You certainly wouldn't do that today.
