Eagerly awaiting the Aberdeen Gig on the 1st, now only 2 days away- have been waiting since February for the big day- havent seen them since Inverness when- 6 years ago- reading all the reviews expect to see a big change in the performance- hopefully will live up to expectation- shall advise once I return following the event.

Yes, well attended the show last night- it was as expected- very much larger set up from when I saw them in Inverness many years ago- think it must have been more like 10 years ago now!
The guys gave a great performance, you really could not tell them apart from the real Floyd, at times you drifted off and could imagine Dave Gilmour & Co on the stage.
Highlight possibly the Great Gig in the Sky- always a good test for the female soloist- 110% for last night effort.
Inflatable kangaroo and lasers included in the show- alas no Eugune played, was looking forward to that which I think they have been playing at some venues on the tour.
Show was partly spoilt by interuptions from people going to the bar for refills during the performance then the same people then going to the toilet to empty the now full bladders!
Was staying in hotel next door and was good to hear them doing their sound checks during the afternoon before the show.
Will certainly not leave it so long before seeing them again. Have a successful tour guys, enjoy the show all.

Was at the Aberdeen gig  best one yet of the 5 times I've seen the Aussies, its a pity the Aberdeen venue is a bit of a barn compared to the Dublin O2 where I saw them last year.
Did anyone notice Skippy had on an eye mask?    was this a dig at the venue for stealing £4.00 for parking this year?.  Concert was as always superb, Damien and Steve on top form as were the rest of the band, lights and animations were stunning, and surprisingly for an Aberdeen crowd they didn't just sit there and clap politely at the end of a song, they were up and cheering. How much longer can the Aussies continue improving as they are in my opinion at the top of the game right now.

This was my 3rd yr in a row seeing the Aussies in Aberdeen and this was for sure the best gig! Crowd was a lot more lively than previous couple of yrs also! Did you guys take note of the Set-list. I think it went like this. Pretty sure thats the right songs, order may be bit different in the 2nd half....I stopped making note...

Part 1
Speak To Me
Breathe
On the Run
Time (reprise)
Great Gig in the Sky
Shine on
Welcome To the Machine
Pigs
Sheep

Part 2
Astronomy Domine
Learning to Fly
High Hopes
Money
Set the controls for the heart of the sun
Keep Talking
Get your flithy hands off of my desert
The Fletcher Memerial Home
Happiest Days of our life
Another Brick in the Wall part 2
One of These Days
Wish You Were Here
Comfortably Numb

Encore
Run Like Hell

i personally thought the show was dying on its arse.. for starters it was only half full.
40 quid a ticket this year seemed steap but i was happy to pay it as i do every year.

the band were on fire the choice of setlist was debateable though. the 2nd set was deffinately better most people were nodding there heads more.

as for the crowd it wasnt even half full.. and most were getting up constantly and going to the bar... i hardly saw many people dancing.

the wall tour was sold out and everyone was up clapping there hands and dancing that was there best show there yet.

this year the atomsphere was grim.
the merch was pretty bad too.

the band seemed very very bored but still i think thats the best ive seen them play musically.

but as for there best show there yet miles off.... 07 - 09 was were they were at there best.

i was aprehending going as i had heard bad reviews about them not selling out etc..
im glad i went but it deffinately wasnt there best show.

rumour has it its been pretty dead crowdwise all tour and aberdeen certianly prooved that

i just wonder if they register that and are gonna go back to small venues

the music hall shows were immense.
