I've seen the Aussie Floyd many times and they really do get better each time. I can't believe how far they have come since the first time I see them in Glasgow King Tuts in 91/92 (cant quite remember). I mentioned this to a chap in the toilets and he didn't believe me!!

One of the things I love about the Aussie Floyd is that you always remember one song as being a real standout, last night it was Fletcher Memorial, it was really quite emotional  :'(

So overall a fantastic gig as usual, the only letdown was the audience seemed to be a bit muted.

See you next year guys  ;D

I was there too last night with my fella - they were amazing as usual, and it was great to see Steve Mac there (I had kinda resigned myself that he wasn't going to be there, going by previous posts) so, that was a bonus!!
Anyway, we were right down at the front and although the gig lasted over 2 hours - it just seemed to go in so quickly!!  We've taken a couple of videos, which i'll post a link to later.  I agree with Max about the crowd, It seemed to be a smaller crowd there, than last time - which is a shame.  Or it may have been down to the security - I felt they were a bit "heavy handed" with the crowd, especially right at the end when the band played "Run Like Hell" there was a wee guy who came right down to the barrier at the front of the stage and was dancing away and waving his arms about (obviously enjoying himself and not doing any harm) and about 3 security guards pounced on him to get him back to his seat!!

However, what a totally brilliant gig - the band were top class as usual and can't wait till next time!!!

I Have Become - Comfortably Numb !!!

Hi just to say I was at the Great Gig in the SECC on Friday.
At my age, it's the first time for Floyd in reality or in tribute form, although I have most of their material in my collection.
I have never been unable for whatever reason to see this band before and was unsure what to expect, but from this experience, I hope I'm going to see them well into my retirement.
Just as I was thinking that a wee toot on something might be good (stopped smoking now), my daughter txtd me to ask if I was enjoying gig and to remind me "not to take any drugs, dad, no matter what the rest of the audience is doing" must have read my mind!!
Run like Hell, Wish You Were Here, Beathe, nah a waste of time relating my favourites the whole show was 5*!!
Can't wait to see them again.
