I competed in the Macc Bikathon last Sunday, 16/05/10, 52 miles of roads on my cycle, the route took us from Macclesfield up and over the steep Dingle and Higher Sutton hills towards Congleton, we then went back into Cheshire circuling Joderall Bank, Goostry and Swinnerton back to Macclesfield.
I had a great day out along with some buddies from our cycling club earning a nice medal to hang on my wall at home and raising some much needed cash for the East Cheshire Hospice.
Next on the list is the Manchester - Liverpool on 30/05/10 then the Manchester 100 in September, oh thats 100 k's ;D

I know Dingle & Higher Sutton!  Have friends in Congleton.  That's a really nice route.

Is the Manchester-Liverpool one along the East Lancs Road?  Take protection
