So I went into Tom Lee Music near where I live in Victoria British Columbia, to get some new guitar strings and ask about some maintenance issue I had with my trusty 37 year old Fender acoustic F35. In the background on the store sound system, the store was filled with CN solo #2 with Gilmour doing his thing off of the PULSE CD.
The guitar tech was a really nice guy who said he gets chills every time he hears it. "well" I said, "have you heard The Australian Pink Floyd Show do it?" Of course he replied "no"....so after he had spent copious amounts of time doing the work I was going to do myself on my guitar (all for nothing I might add!) I nipped out to the car and gave him my Fav tracks CD of the Aussies.......straight onto the store PA it went and about 4 sales guys gathered around to listen. The guitar players in the store all came over and a small crowd of people began to comment on Steve Mac's solo #1 on Comfy numb, and Damians solo #2. I told them all about TAPFS etc. They were all hugely impressed and off I went out of the store chuffed! ;D
