Hi I'm feeling confused!! 2 Pink Floyd Shows, one for the UK, the Other for the rest of the world? Each under different management? Which members are in which, are they the same, where is Mr D gone to as the "original" 5 members together WERE TAPFS in my mind.

Or is it all just political? Any answers appreciated ;D

Arran Ahmun - Drums
Carl Brunsdon - Saxophones, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, percussion, keyboards, clarinet
Ian Cattell - Bass guitar, vocals
Damian Darlington - Guitar, vocals
Bobby Harrison - Guitar, vocals
Rob Stringer - Keyboards

The band has split, there are now 2 competing shows, each intending to tour the world. They have different management and booking companies and no common band members.

TAPFS hasn't yet announced all of its members, but the core band comprises Steve Mac, Jason Sawford, Colin Wilson and Paul Bonney.

The members of TBPFS are listed in the previous post. In addition, Gareth Darlington is doing the sound and Bryan Kolupski the graphics and animations. Backing vocalists haven't been announced yet for either band.

I prefer the Australian version so far myself. Every time I've seen them, they have been the best. I saw the British version last year and they had a lot of technical problems during the show.

That's just the luck of the draw, absolutely nothing to do with which lineup of the band you saw. Up to and including the forthcoming US tour both lineups have been promoted by the same company, used the same gear and been staffed by the same road crew/engineers. The only difference is the onstage musicians.

Thanks for the replies. Think I've got my head around things now also after seeing other posts I missed earlier. Maybe one of the PFS's then gets to buy a bigger Mr Screen or do they split the lighting assets down the middle in an amicable "divorce" settlement!!! Great to see Spring dates announced as early as I've ever seen them. Only seen Bobby Harrison on YouTube but looks a great guitarist...for a lefty  >
