Came across this today. It's an official announcement from TAPFS- Interesting reading wouldn't you say?


In order to stop any speculation and confusion about recent comments claiming that the Australian Pink Floyd has changed it's name we thought we should set the record straight.

Any suggestion that that Australian Pink Floyd has in any way renamed itself is completely false and misleading. The Aussies remain the biggest and best Floyd tribute act in the world and will be announcing a brand new world tour in the coming weeks.
Steve Mac singer and guitarist from the band said earlier 'We can't wait to get back out on the road with yet another brand new and bigger show in early 2011. The new tour will be the most expensive show we have ever performed and we have some great surprises in store for our fans including 3D visual effects and quadraphonic sound. We have never been so strong.'

Tickets will be available from the usual outlets and the new members area of the official site www.aussiefloyd.com will allow fans to purchase priority tickets before the official on sale date.

I just saw this on the aussiefloyd.com forum earlier. As it was in the public domain I didn't see a problem with posting it here. Thought it might interest people on this forum who also are fans of tapfs?

I'm taking the grandkid's to Blackpool zoo over the weekend, does that count ?

I first heard floyd whilst at the zoo.A moment i shall never forget.
I was just interested in what tapfs fans here had to say about this official announcement that was put up by a poster called TAPFS on aussiefloyd forum.
I don't know what's going on fully with the band i have seen many times.I hope to have another floyd fix soon this fall.

No problem posting it here at all. Kevin just didn't want the members to think he was using the forum to fight his battles.
