Saw the show last night at The Fillmore in San Francisco and thought it was terrific! This band just keeps getting better and better. True, there were no lasers or inflatables, but the quality of the music and the tightness of the band shined on throughout the whole show.

It was the same set list as in LA. The higlights for me were Learning to Fly, Pigs (3DO), and Keep Talking. Everything else was awesome too. I found it incredible how much they livened up Learning to Fly. The jamming during the song danced perfectly around the melody. Keep Talking is usually one of my least favorite Floyd tunes, but again the jamming around was phenominal. And Pigs....WOW!!!! Probably the best live version of this song I have ever heard. The band owned the song, but kept true to the Pink Floyd sound.

Please don't take this as a complaint, but a suggestion. It seems everytime I have seen them play (every year since 2003) and they do a song from The Final Cut, it is ALWAYS the Fletcher Memorial. I love TFC, but would love to see what else can be played from that album. However, like I said, the show was awesome!!!!!

They did "The Gunner's Dream" last year in Birmingham, which was very good indeed, and I'm really not a fan of The Final Cut as an album. Pigs was also awesome, by far the best verison I've ever heard, so I'm glad to hear they kept it in the set.
