Last nights show of Which Ones Pink just sucked, look at what they made us listen to for hours and hours!  One of the best shows I have ever been to, period.  These guys are the real deal, they live the music and therefore can come from under the songs to get in and really develop them and make them sound, well better than the originals much of the time.

It makes me think that this is one of the reasons that PF split up, part of the group did not want to experiment and play the less popular arrangements and some of the others did.  This point is sort of proven if you saw Water’s last tour, White and AFL just sort of standing around and not doing much but support.  Now slip in a copy of In the Flesh – yep, scorching solo’s by everyone – nobody is standing around.  Who knows, maybe everyone was just tired from touring but I think the best part of Waters may be well in the past – don’t get me wrong, he is great and the music is great but I am done with dark side and the pop stuff, I want to experience the true range that PF really was in the past and I don’t think its going to come with a mainstream show put on by Waters.  I have only seen AF once so I will not comment other than to say to make me a real fan the set list should look somewhat like the below.

Anyhow, I will get off the box but we should consider ourselves lucky that there are bands out there that take this part of music history seriously enough not to take the cheap and easy way out.

If you are every plan a trip to socal try and catch these guys, they define the word awesome.

Ha....ya gotta love a review like that Dan!
Kurt I think you liked the show! I loved them too when I saw them about a year ago, they have found the center of the experience of Pink Floyd.....and that's what it all about.

Many people reading this will agree with the phrase,"there comes a time when you have to give up just doing the pop stuff" ?
Any Floyd tribute band, whatever their current stature should take careful note of that.
Think of the future, its a skill to get the balance of change just right in order to keep an audience with you.

Well those are very kind words, indeed, Kurt.  I think the folks around here who know me, either in person or virtually, understand that I'm, first and foremost, a fan of Pink Floyd.  To be associated with anything Floyd is an honor (honour) and to be associated with W1P is a dream come true.  And we do it for people like Kurt, that is, for people like us -- devoted to Pink Floyd.  And an added bonus is that we've been able to strike up and maintain friendships with the others around the world who feel the same way and manifest those feelings by putting on the best Floyd show they can -- so thanks to all of you too!  Here's a link to a video site that has put up the first half of our show from Saturday.  I hope you will enjoy.  http://www.grunzychannel.net/WHICH%20ONE%27S%20PINK%20.html

yes...I see...the pulsating green x is mesmerizing(is that a laser?), but I don't recall a song called connecting....   :

Lovely review Kurt, the W1P boys do it right don't they? I'm not sure about this one dude who keeps rushing the stage though, it's almost like you have to plan something like that!
