The Pink Floyd Experience. Australia September 4 years ago #1

'ey oop.

The Pink Floyd Experience (the one from New Zealand) is touring Australia in September.
The dates are:
Melbourne, Palais Theatre, 19 September
Adelaide. Thebarton Theatre, 20 September
Perth, Burswood Theatre, 21 September
Sydney, Enmore Theatre, 25 September
Brisbane, QPAC Concert Hall, 26 September.

I'm not sure what the final set list will be, but as soon as the guys let me know, I'll post.
There's some pictures and audio on the website, www.pinkfloydexperience.co.nz

I wonder what ever happened to "Beyond the Darkside"?

They've certainly created some confusion in Australia.
Concerts they performed in Australia last year were heavily promoted as "Beyond the dark side, THE PINK FLOYD EXPERIENCE".
One show in Brisbane was massively compromised by a power issue during setup which damaged some of the audio equipment.
With hindsight, they should , perhaps, have cancelled the show but went ahead despite the fact that the sound in the venue was .......how to put this......not great.
A lot of people walked out, the venue offered refunds to patrons. Not a good look.
Because of the heavy emphasis on the pink floyd experience in the pre-publicity, a lot of concert goers in Brisbane think that that particular show was a concert from my lot.
At least we'll get a chance on this September tour to play the same venue and put the record straight.
